the storage problem has found a temporary solution, thanks to Simon.

gotta love that guy.

finished Harry Potter and the Phil.stone last night. there are indeed subtle hints of darker matters therein. I love that.

spent the entire weekend with Callie, two nights in a row (Sat. and last night at her place). wonderful can only be the beginning of its description.

oh! Sis is down in the reception right now!
*rushing to receive her*

eaten boiled cod.
a little too much. =)

gonna go home now to fetch her my copy of FotR (the book). she's going to participate in the Nobel Peace Prize torchlight parade in half an hour, we'll meet up then.

the dilemma of me going home for Xmas versus spending time with my friends here is taxing, but I still know I have to go. I can't turn my back and leave that part of me behind. not that I desire to, either.

roots, bloody roots.

so. ahem. in a funny kind of way, because there really was nothing special to it, objectively speaking, I'd like to think Friday night was somewhat special anyway.

a Møllers night. a very typical one at that. I got there from work some minutes before 21. met Kjinge and Korova (and Fred & B.O.) briefly, then decided to grab a snack and a fresh packet of cigs from the store (which was set to close in just 3 minutes when I left). no such luck. somehow my account appeared to be overcharged as I was going to draw my card for the clerk. and I still haven't the faintest idea why. some investigation is called for, it appears.

then as I went home to recharge my mobile, it wouldn't. wouldn't even turn itself on for even two seconds. not good. and what with my general situation being what it is these days, I should have arrived back at Møllers full of gloom and bitterness.

but that didn't happen.

Magz & Silje came and sat down at our table. we read Kjinge's hilarious Xmas story while he treated us to his "home-baked" pepper cookies. and then the Marquis, Farmen, Aurora, and Line arrived in short order. and Marianne. and Burn. and Goldie. and Callie. and Rex. we had to relocate to a larger table because of the number of friends gathering around.

with so many friends present, being suddenly broke didn't stop me from contracting a good, old-fashioned hangover the day after. so many of them bought me drinks, I was actually impressed by my own popularity. if that's not a too nauseating comment.

Møllers is indeed the place where everybody knows your name.
