cover boy comin' round again

for all you cover boys and -girls out there. :)

I wanted to make a list of the cover songs in my mp3 collection to post here, but there were >250 of them. so I decided to narrow them down a bit.

no acoustic one-off radio shows (no Metallica - Tuesday's Gone (acoustic Lynyrd Skynyrd cover), that is.)
no live bootlegs - live recordings are fine, as long as they are published by the band. oh, and this goes for the previous "radio rule" as well. (so I guess maybe that certain Last Caress recording is kind of a special case.) kiss my ass, Fred Durst.
no cover bands - bands who have little or no songs of their own - bye bye MFatGGs, Mambo Kurt, Fantômas.
no tribute album covers (many artists covering many songs by one artist), sorry Sabbath.
no cover album covers (one artist covering many song by many artists), yeah, I'm speaking to you,Tori.

I suppose soundtrack contributions are okay. =)
