I didn't really want to. not in the beginning.

my reluctance could stem from a number of sources. their importance has gradually been reduced.

she called me. I came to her. I couldn't afford to. did it anyway. so cozy. very nice flat. no food (no fridge). partly furnished. was awed by her book collection. talked somewhat to Maragor. most likeable fellow. I missed my last train home. (her outburst: "yess!") roles reversed, huh?

the strange mutual felicity continued this morning. going to the city anyway, she accompanied me on the train. couldn't quit saying "aaw" and nose nibbling. holding hands. we seem to make each other silly on a regular basis. that, and acting like fourteen-year-olds. (about high time I started, she opined. I don't know about that.)

so I bought us breakfast (panini toast & ham & too-sourly oiled salad, coffee & fresh pressed orange juice + mulled micro-baguette & strawberry jam. outrageous prices.) at Concerto Café by the National Theater Station, where she was supposed to meet her class.

that means I didn't get to clean up at home last night either. my apartment reminds me of a pigsty. I'm gonna get lunch/dinner today, and some vitamin things too.
