larrisheh. my editor-in-chief and my CEO both thought this week's concert tip featured (very) old events since the tip contained the phrase "Tue: 22 Pistepirkko, Rockef." and that the 22nd of October was on a Tuesday last year. actually it won't be on a Tue until next year, but they didn't think of that.
turns out they weren't quite aware of the band 22-Pistepirkko. (after having stressed both the desk editor and yours truly). I like them both, but there's nothing like a little anti-authoritarian loss-of-face incident to brighten up one's day. =D
haven't heard from Blaze yet. s'posed to meet up with him soon, I guess. going to Mono sounds good.
Callie was in a wonderful mood last night. so... joyful. finally arranged for BadCop, Leon, and Callie to meet up at Møllers. poor Leon doesn't have as many cool friends as I'm privileged enough to boast of. funny to think that I, who regard myself as a reasonably straight-and-level person, actually am turning out to be a lot more, ah, umm, er, special than I've even realized myself.
