there are just too many of them.

I just got in from seeing Callie, BadCop, Kari and the Marquis in sequence. I'm a tiny bit inebriated, but that should be of no consequence. I'm awaiting an SMS from Leon or Martin since the battery for my GD mobile decided to run out of juice in the middle of a conversation. the plan is to meet them somewhere in the Løkka area. I have no idea if I actually have it in me to leave here again after this. let's just wait it out.

just ate baked duck with pineapple and sweet&sour sauce at a thai-vietnamese place I never even knew existed, just two blocks from here. good. white wine. also good.

there are too many of them. far too many.

reminds me that I promised to ping Sab this week since I accidentally met her on the street on... Friday? Saturday? damn, another fine woman. at least I'm GoodCop as opposed to BadCop who today managed to send his SMS'd "thanks for last nite" to his companion yesterday to his, ah, now-former girlfriend. heh. one for the books.

and it doesn't even seem to bother most of them that they're supposedly involved with others. what is this? I'm not used to this, not by a long shot.

is it my money? is it my wits? is it my looks?

and why the hell are they all so young?

this isn't whining or groaning, just genuine bewilderment, mind you.

wonder if Magnoose got Christine's number after all?

I love it when people I know are mixing up. =)

yeah, I never got that SMS from Leon/Martin. just as well. spent the fourth night in a row lying dressed on my couch instead of my bed. why does it come to this? lack of energy again, prolly.

that, or laziness, would explain why I haven't even cleaned up yet after my nachspiel on Saturday.

the movie Dark City runs at my local theater this week, as part of the "scary summer" campaign, Kari wants yours truly + Farmen to come, I'll invite Simon too since Farmen found the notion of going alone spooky, heh.

that's it. off to work.

Sab wrote me before I got the time to write her. depending on whether matters work out where she's moving, she asked if she could possibly crash on my couch for a week, as a rain check. don't think it's going to come to that, but I was flattered all the same. she's going to have another of her comics published, she mentioned. that's right, get that talent out into the light!

and I also got a touching "screen letter" from my mother, stating that when I hung up on her (and my father) in my drowsiness on Monday, they became upset.

especially my father. he wants to talk to me more often, but my mother often grabs the line and then she thoroughly exhausts me. sorry about that, but there are limits to my attention and patience.

Kari insists on paying for my movie ticket tonight, just because dinner & drinks were on me last night. and I cannot imagine she's that well endowed financially.

going out to pick up Bizarre Magazine for Kari soon. they should carry it in any of the popular newsagent chains nearby. how about some fewd to go? uh-huh. fewd is gewd.

didn't get the mag, the editorial staff apparently have taken their summer vacation. no excuse. gonna try again on Tuesday.

the 7-Eleven pizza is bad. damaging my olfactory glands worse than cigarette smoke. it's a honest to god blasphemy, a criminal offense against the art of gastronomy. even I can probably do better cooking.

which reminds me I'm going home soon to sanitize / disinfect my fridge. and my floor. and my sink. bleaurghh. :-P

and this time I'm even gonna do it all the way! honest! I'm motivated!
