Sep. 1st, 2002 12:01 pmI just dreamt that the Thief 3 crew toured Norway and that there were several shows on this on the state channel. Tim Stellmach was interviewed while sitting in a moving car, camera presumably in a car driving parallel to his.
a military engine skidded sideways to their vessel, almost smashing them. I think that was part of their tour, intended to give them a little shock.
I was hoping to meet the producer, Lulu LaMer (whose name took me 4 years to finally realize wasn't a joke. it made sense once I saw it with the intracaps.) but my mother started talking during the program, so I couldn't figure out where to go next. when I asked Father, he said he didn't know. and added, somewhat annoyed or spitefully or maybe chagrined because of himself, when he grew aware of my disappointment, "I can't know everything, you know." I was so sad.
before that, lots of screenshots of the Unreal engine. which could actually handle the high object count of Thief after all, with still more polys for guards to go. I remember even seeing structural smashing in one of the intros.
and the reporters reported that this game was to be about the Keepers, true, but most of all about she...
this was really meaningless. will endeavour to do something with meaning soon.
