lost opportunities

just got in from spending some time in the park with my cousin Pukë. he's moving to Trondheim as soon as he gets a place up there. and I picked up my hard drive at the post office. think I'll just postpone installing it 'till we're back home from our Sweden trip. Simon also enclosed a newspaper clipping of Kari and a black CD-ROM which I haven't had the chance to check out yet. (I'm still playing Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire.)

I went to Ole's on Wednesday night. got so impressed with everything. got to meet Tine for the first time. she is a magnificent cook! lamb steak and herbs and the best potatoes I've tasted in a long while. and a truly heavenly chocolate mousse with whisky for dessert.

I should have insisted that Callie joined. and the poor guy couldn't stop having a bad conscience because of that, even though I told him to let it go. oh well. next time for sure.

hauled all of Callie's remaining stuff from Asker to here yesterday with a rented car. went really well. got honked at only three times. =)

I love my girlfriend.

but I find myself wondering whether it's a good idea to go on working where I work now. the pay is good, true, but I don't fancy being forced to overhear comments from dumb people all day. it takes all sorts, true, but I'm not feeling wholly comfortable around all of them.

must intensify my strivings. by approximately 300% or thereabouts. =P
