I surprised myself last night.

the Mort only lent me the Preacher books up to about halfway in the series a few years ago, 'cause that's how far it ran at that point in time. now, after finishing the last book for the first time,

I went out

and alone, under a tree slanting dangerously far over the street I shed three tears for the protagonists, whom I had grown to love.

and I dreamt of them as well.

so long.

I've had a very nice Easter, thank you all.

great time with Callie in our mountain cabin. got home here Thursday night. Simon arrived on Friday.

I ended up hosting vorspiels in advance of both Inferno nights. Callie helped me manage to clean up half the apartment on Friday.

got very drunk in between all the concerts. missed lots of bands, including Zection 8, which Farmen etc. found impressive. gotta check them out in a record store.

met lotsa lotsa people. because there were lotsa lotsa people around. good.

more updating later, I hafta go complaining to the store about my mobile battery, which simply won't charge itself. grr.

at the end of the night I found myself sitting and waiting for Dimmu at the gallery with Maria and Simon, Callie on my lap, me shouting Slayer lyrics (apparently mostly into her ear, apologies for that), and feeling very tired.

getting old, I must be. =)

delivered my mobile to service. home number is the best way to reach me. or c/o Callie's new number.

she's here right now, moving in her posters and a cd mini-rack. we already plastered up the first one on my (oops, our) bedroom door. funny feeling, helping each other decorate and improve this place together for the first time.

Simon brought my HDD with my backed-up mp3s and lotsa movies he kindly selected for me. now to find a way to mount it, preferably in a brand new cabinet. need to be careful, though. I haven't followed the hardware developments very closely for the past three years. need to investigate.

mh.
I feel sorry for Simon. but pity isn't what's needed. nor is charity. let's see if things improve over a couple of weeks.

heh. I all but forced Callie to watch The Phantom Menace last night. made me want to play Episode I Racer again. wonder if it's possible to buy it still?
