the Tomahawk gig was awesome. plain & simple. memorable moments galore, like when Mr. Patton invited a Viking up on the stage to puke on him.

jeez.

met Solvor, she appeared to be studying the playing style of the guitarist intimately. =)

went to So What! with BadCop afterwards, Cecilia and friends turned up after the Nickelback concert. BadCop had a falling out with his live-in and his mood deterioated noticeably afterwards.

why can't people just get along?

going to bed now. hope as many as possible can be there at the Gotham anniversary.

love y'all.

hum. I met a guy at the Majorstua underground station as we were catching the tube downtown. he recognized me from my former position. I know he's been attending at least a couple of meetings with me, but I was utterly unable to place him, and didn't care for asking. wore a DIO beanie, little hair.

where the fuck do I know him from?

mm. he gave me coupla hints, he's now working for Radio NRJ, and plays in a metal band (he was off to RockIn as the rest of us headed for So What!) which had a gig at Smuget on Tuesday.

let's see what we can make of those little scraps of info. =)

ah! the band is called Absolute Steel, which was the name of the web site he provided me. my, aren't they Big In Japan. =) looks like their brand of metal is, hm, not exactly my choice.

quote from their press sheet:

-the fastest guitarist is the best.
-the vocalist who reaches the highest note is the best.
-the bass-player with longest distance between his legs on stage is the best.
-...and the drummer who drills fastest with the sticks is the best.

heh. =)
