chkd my email, again. got an invitation. tempting. have conflicting obligations. must see if I can find a way of sorting them out. to everybody's satisfaction.
wonderful party at Chris's on Saturday. got a very good impression of Daniel and Carina. met Berit/Eli again, heh. crazy chicks. felt really good to be drinking with Magnoose again. and dear Callie. so some party-cipants left early, some were no-shows, and after a while we reached the conclusion that what this party needed to be perfect was a Kjinge.
so we arranged for picking him up, after having stirred him sufficiently awake by our constant pestering telephone calls. great success, as predicted.
spent the beginning of the Sunday at Kjinge's, but he had already made plans for meeting a friend of his in Lille, so we went back to town almost unusually early. for a Sunday at Kjinge's, I mean.
Maragor stopped by my place after having been to one of his band practices. didn't go with them to Asker, for a change. saw a little of Terminator and played more Starcraft instead.
today, OTOH, I am in Asker, at Zathyra's desk specifically. I called Magnoose at the appointed hour yesterday, and he came by just as I finally cleaned my table of the bottles. lent me a helping hand cashing them in and all. afterwards we went to Shadowland to pick up cheap tickets for the Gotham 7th Anniversary Night. woo hoo. and naturally I bought yet more music. two compilations, Orkus Presents The Best Of 2001 and Mick Mercer's The Ultimate Goth Rock Compilation (5-CD box).
and then we went to get a cheap snack. after a failed detour at an optician to obtain cool crazylenses (didn't have month lenses with my strength prescription), we ended up at Café Blitz. ran into Oscar, Goldie, and Ingrid there, but didn't talk much with them. after that we bid each other good-bye, and I went to bought a Reader's Digest collection of Mysteries of the Unexplained, as well as a primer on religious phenomenology by a certain van der Leuwen.
went to Asker afterwards.
taco dinner with Callie last night. very good, if I am to brag about it. =)
she just arrived home from school, now she's nagging me about finishing so that she can use the computer to check her mail. Maragor should really see if he can get a network card installed soon in his 'pewter soon.
so now we're presumably to spend the afternoon here waiting to go to Maragor's concert in Lørenskog tonight. not the first we've been invited to, but the first we'll actually attend. cool.
