mustard sally

can't remember the last time I had a nightmare ending with me waking up. at least I died in a quick manner.

I remember it vividly enough. remember worrying about my dear ones. that's always the worst part.

still, a certain game must have been... influencing my subconscious. I can remember getting caught up in things when I was younger, be it toys, comic books, or tv series, and then dreaming about them. such fun!

"ghost world" the movie differed from the comic book in several major aspects. still, it made me walk out of the theater and regard every single human being I met with wonder and astonishment.

everybody you see walking in the city has a life of their own. with little personality quirks, sorrows, and dreams. I find that an amazing, yet comforting thought.

out to get a snack and smoke now.

wow.

just opened the micro-books of DL9-12. it appears the actual simulation game of DL11 Dragons of Glory was included, complete with small maps and smaller counters. I had never expected that.

(it must be next to unplayable unless the counters are moved and generally manipulated with stamp tongs. and played upon a really safe and stable surface. OTOH, it's nice to have a war game whose playing field area only spans about a magazine cover.)

I'm always gonna love Dragonlance. =)

*gasp*

shit.

and the Talis deck of DL12 Dragons of Faith is included in nicely colored and glossy cardboard, along with some neet-o Battlesystem counters. all in miniature size.

my, oh my.
forget sports enthusiasts, geeks have more fun. =)
