five years ago the EU imposed a temporary halt in trade with genetically modified organisms. in disappointment, the US government threatens to bring the "illegal and unscientific" moratorium to the WTO, claiming it's in conflict with that organization's principles of free world trade as far as possible.

well duh.

so are restrictions on weapons, slavery, and drug traffic, actually. having a sovereign national state means having the privilege to decide what one wishes to have going back and forth across its borders. huh.

when the my internet bank service was temporarily unavailable earlier this morning, I saw it as a good sign.

turned out I was right. =)

the work office didn't turn out as planned, however. oh well. it's probably my own fault.
